2020 was a big year in the planning for most people and companies including luxury furniture brands who had their new collections set to be revealed during Salone Del Mobile in April 2020. Unfortunately with the pandemic, most companies had to change the direction pf their plans. Some decided to show their products through virtual events and others simply through announcements and creative videos.
Fendi Casa usually are discrete when it comes to showing their collection but nevertheless presented a gorgeous and maybe the most fun collection to date. Their setups revolved mainly around bold colors. They got creative with their movable pieces such as the coffee tables and added different finishes patterns and colors to already existing designs in addition to new ones.
The new collection included new and facelifted existing products. The start where the Anya Lite tables in all the various colors, and the Kelly and Kelly Bracelet where they created armchairs, sofas, and beds from the same line.
My personal favorite is the Lambert sofa (with the luxurious marble inserts) and pouf.

This year Pantone chose a neutral yet fresh color which symbolizes rebirth. I have been watching closely the predictions for the trends in 2017 and for the first time most brands and developers agree on one thing, NATURE. I have seen another hue of green as a trend prediction for 2017, and I was not surprised that Pantone chose green as well.
Among other trends are Terracotta and cork, two natural materials as well. Let’s see the upcoming exhibitions and see if this is how the major brands will go.
On Pantone’s website, you can see the palettes they chose to show how Greenery can be used in different ways for different purposes and effects. Personally I would use this specific green with white or light grey to keep the ‘zestiness’ of the color. I would love to use it with blue as well.
I was delighted to know that National Napping day falls on March 14th. It made me want to look more into the benefits of napping and share them with my readers. The lovely people at Casper have prepared the info-graphic above which specifies exactly why we should all take regular naps.
My favorite is the catnap, it gives a fresh burst of energy afterwards, to me this is the ultimate purpose of a nap. Unfortunately, i work ling shifts where i don’t get the chance to nap and hence fall apart early in the evening. I try my best to nap on the weekends even if for 30 minutes. This way I wake up refreshed and can spend a more delightful evening with my family.

Yesterday March 24, 2015 a private viewing of the ‘Silene’ Cuff by Zaha Hadid in collaboration with AWMouzannar was held at Qirdala, a jewelry shop in Tilal Complex, Shwaikh, Kuwait. The event showcased the cuff along with some of the finest pieces designed by Alia & Dori Mouzannar.
The cuff is made of 12 pieces and is encrusted with 1048 diamonds. The prototype shown is made of brushed white gold but can be ordered in either pink or yellow gold. The price was not disclosed, but what I got to know is that only 12 pieces will be made, 2 have already been sold.
“Silene expresses the fluidity and complexity of natural forms,” said Hadid. “An intricate web gently envelops the pristine white gold cuff resulting in a delicate piece that explores the evolution of organic geometries and patterning.”
This is not your normal shower head, Waters Therapy Shower will totally transform your daily showering ritual, the specialist cartridges infuse the softened water with additional vitamin C (to condition and soften skin), collagen (to help enhance skin’s elasticity) and aroma-therapeutic essences (citrus or lavender), to help restore emotional equilibrium. Tap water is traditionally treated with all manner of chemicals – including chlorine – which is not only ruinous for hair and skin, but can exacerbate conditions such as asthma, eczema and skin sensitivity. What’s more, This innovative shower head is also kinder for the environment as it helps you save water, and by removing impurities, there’s less likelihood of limescale accumulating in your shower (which means less time spent cleaning it!).
Softer water not only leaves locks looking lustrous and skin feeling soft, but also has far fewer chemical nasties which can compromise our health – which is why we’re all lathered up over Waters Therapy Shower; a detachable shower head which fits (almost) every standard fitting, to soften hard water and filter potentially harmful additives such as chlorine. What’s more, you can transform your shower into an aromatherapy steam room, if you choose one of the heavenly scented cartridges – ‘citrus’ is gorgeously fresh and zingy, to help you dive into the morning, while ‘lavender’ is perfect for helping you wind down whilst you wash the day away.
This shower head retails at £105 and you can buy it online at Cult Beauty with FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. It comes with 2 refill cartridges and you can choose between Citrus or Lavender.

The most basic and important part of daily skincare are both cleansing and moisturizing.
