Mher Krikorian is a young talented photographer from Lebanon. I came across his work after following him on twitter and realizing his passion for what he does best, hang around Beirut and “Shoot with his Canon”.
His input is very touching, through his “Life is Awesome” collection, not only did he attach pamphlets with his own words, he spread them in a way that made passersby smile and even if for a moment, think of how “awesome” life is.

Life has a beautiful slide show of the Eiffel tower’s history and what it has passed through since it was being constructed. An Icon so strong it has become the symbol of an an entire country. I will leave you enjoy the images and their description. You can check the original slide show here.

Leah Durner is an American artist known for her painting that embody strong emotions, translated through the strong colors and swirls of paint. The colors are vibrant, the mood is refreshing yet very emotional, you can’t ignore their beauty. When I cam across her collection, I couldn’t but keep staring, the way the colors are intertwined yet not losing their color and identity is magnificent. I loved every single one of them. Florian Nicolle Known as Neo is a graphic designer with a special style you can not go past without noticing. Her illustrations are filled with splattered paintbrushes and unfinished faces, indicating her sense of “when to stop”. This unfinished style is enough to allow your imagination to take over.

When you first check out these images, you think they are just the ordinary photos of food markets or landscape sceneries, look closed and you will realize that every element in the photo is made of a food item. These are real photos made with food, or as Carl Warner likes to call them ‘Foodscapes’. The links were sent to me by a lovely reader NS, thank you.

The idea behind this project was to ‘help you feel wonder each time you use a mobile phone, to enable you to anticipate unprecedented ways of communicating, to give you the power to realize a lifestyle of freedom, liberated from preconceived notions, finding ways to embody the freshest ideas and never failing to stimulate your sensibility—this is the essence of iida’s mission.’ The project was revealed during DESIGNTIDE 2010, Tokyo held from October 30,2010 till November 3, 2010.
