X-Federation Chair By Victor Vetterlein | Furniture

This is probably the most good looking stacking chair I have ever seen! New York designer Victor Vetterlein came up with an x-shaped frame and very thin legs and called it : X-Federation. This chair is composed of laminated wood combined with carbon fiber fabric – a material strengthening technique used in boat building and further developed in the skateboard industry.

The Perfect Selection Of Armchairs For Your Living Space | Furniture

You might opt for a simple sofa or sectional for your space for the sake of being convenient or because it is the major part of the room. When it comes to armchairs or loungers, I prefer to go for statement pieces whether in terms of  overall design, color, finish, or simply because it is designed by a well known designer. In 2013 many designers presented magnificent pieces which I fell in love with such as the above armchair designed by Jaime Hayon for the Republic of Fritz Hansen. This specific photo made me love pastels, the whole chair is just a delight to look at. the fact that it feels like someone is already seated in it, gives the impression of comfort.

Hermès Present Their 2013 Furniture Collection During Milan Design Week

After Antonio Citterio and Shigeru Ban, this year during Milan Design Week, Hermès presented their latest collection ‘Nécessaire d’Hermès’ designed by Philippe Nigro. The collection is basically of items ‘necessary’ for daily living, thus its name. The collection is of 8 elements, the main feature is the bench with hidden drawers, all seamless in design and finish. The collection also includes poufs, tables, clothes hanger where to put your cozy dresses similar to the ones at short prom dress websites, and a screen. All designs relate to the Hermès style, to the point, well handcrafted, but with fabrics from the ever so popular Hermès collection.

Design Circle Joins Social Media | Furniture

Design Circle is a leading supplier for luxury furniture in the Middle East and located in Kuwait. It is owned by Pro-design group known for being one of the best high end designers and furniture retailers in the region. Brad Pitt Debuts Furniture Line

 

Brad Pitt is debuting a furniture line in collaboration with Frank Pollaro known for his reproductions of Art Deco furnishings. The unveiling will take place November 13 through 15 in New York.

Almost all of us have heard of Brad's passion for architecture and design made clear through his Make It Right foundation which focused on providing housing after the Katrina catastrophe. He admits that his love for architecture started when he registered for a 2-point credit course in college.
