show-flat-5

When you look for a design which incorporates both, the modern lines and ethnic materials, this is the perfect project. The warmth of the wood against the cleanliness of the black steel lines are a match made in heaven.

This apartment is located on the 22nd floor of a new, high-rise residential building in Dongguan in southeast China. The apartment was designed by both Minas Kosmidis [Architecture in Concept] from Greece and YuQiang and Partners Interior Design from China.

The Queensgate project was designed by TG Studio where the designers joined two separate apartments. Neither apartment had been renovated for over 40 years.

The luxury apartment had luxurious finishing using Schotten and Hansen wood flooring, Lutron lighting system, Dorn Bracht faucets, and the kitchen by non other than famous German company: Bulthaup.

The Lebanese owners of this apartment travel between Africa and London often. And the brief was for a modern but earthy look that would work in this classical building. Faena House in Miami by Foster + Partners | Luxury Apartments

7-Glazed-exterior-walls

In 2014, The Faena Group–founded by Alan Faena and partnered by Len Blavatnik–is set to launch its first phase of global expansion in Miami Beach. Faena House is an extraordinary, 18-story oceanfront luxury condominium situated on the widest stretch of white sand in all of Miami Beach – bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Collins Avenue to the west. Envisioned by Alan Faena and designed by internationally renowned architects Foster+Partners, Faena House is a vision of true indoor/outdoor living – ingeniously designed and engineered, and meticulously constructed to exist in perfect harmony with its oceanfront setting. Breakthrough architectural advances allow panoramic views from ocean to bay with glass walls that open extraordinarily wide to virtually eliminate a division between indoors and out.

Faena House offers one to five bedroom fully finished residences with sleek and impeccably detailed interiors, fixtures and appliances from unclutterer — designed or selected by Foster+Partners. Each home features a majestic outdoor living terrace that wraps around its interior, known in Argentina as an “Alero.” Custom designed by Foster+Partners and engineered by Permasteelisa, the Aleros dissolve the boundary between inside and outside through floor-to-ceiling window wall and sliding door systems, opening as wide as 12.6 feet in some residences. Foster+Partners collaborated with Molteni & C on custom kitchens and Permasteelisa on custom bathrooms to create a distinctive and unparalleled design. Three one-of-a-kind penthouses crown this magnificent building, with a full floor penthouse offering a private interior elevator and outdoor pool.

Beautiful Penthouse In Ukraine Inspired By Nature

Photo Apr 15, 10 54 55 PM

I love the fact that in almost everything, everyone is going back to nature, whether in food, design, fashion, etc.. In this Ukraine based project, Sergey Makhno Workshop, same designers of the famous Twister restaurant, used green and natural materials to create a loft-like space. With natural li8ght flooding the  apartment, lovely modern furniture, and breathtaking wood flooring, this penthouse is a winner. If I were to work on a project inspired by nature, this is what it would probably look like.

Black And White Apartment In Moscow | Interiors

If I were to live in a ” single's” apartment, it would look exactly like this one designed by Boris Uborevich-Borovsky, Irina Selezneva, Oksana Lobanova, and Aleksey Antonov. It is 140 sq.m and located in Moscow. What I loved about it is the lovely application of a monochromatic palette, giving the space an illusion of being larger and very bright. The use of some of my favorite B&B Italia pieces such as the Papilio armchair in the bedroom and the Tufty composition sofa shown here in black. Also used in the apartment is a parquet flooring & Antonio Lupi bathroom fixtures.

This is proof that simplicity can be beautiful when well applied.

A Glamorous Parisian Apartment Using Ochres and Grey Color Palette

As much as this apartment is charming it is glamorous at the same time. A lovely contrast of matt and metallic finishes in an elegant palette of greys and golds are what make the space look so unique. Jean Louis Deniot designed this Paris apartment for himself.
