On of the most anticipated movies of the year is definitely Fifty Shades of Grey to be released for Valentine’s day, despite the controversy and unprecedented popularity of the original book.
Architecture studio Egue y Seta turned an old toy shop into a contemporary industrial house in Barcelona, Spain. They kept the brick walls and concrete look, and then added glass, oak & Iroko wood, in addition to an integrated garden to make it more contemporary and livable. The furniture chosen complemented the space really well, enhancing its industrial/ vintage look.
I love the fact that in almost everything, everyone is going back to nature, whether in food, design, fashion, etc.. In this Ukraine based project, Sergey Makhno Workshop, same designers of the famous Twister restaurant, used green and natural materials to create a loft-like space. With natural li8ght flooding the apartment, lovely modern furniture, and breathtaking wood flooring, this penthouse is a winner. If I were to work on a project inspired by nature, this is what it would probably look like.
