Designed by Piet Boon, the’ Jane’ is meant to be a fine dining restaurant run by Michelin star chef Sergio Herman and chef Nick Bril with the theme of ‘fine dining meets rock and roll’.

One of the fist designers to introduce copper in modern interiors and in a very flamboyant way was Tom Dixon. His interiors are known to have copper as the main finishing element and I think he has done an amazing job so far. This project is his first ever in Paris , a new restaurant from Fabienne and Philippe Amzalak and Jean-Louis Costes, called Eclectic.

The main features are the pendant light in the center and custom made honey comb copper wall. The seating is mostly  ‘lounging’ with large booths and armchairs that are part of the designer’s collection.

WORKSHOP

Three Years ago I posted about Park 51 in New York,  a project assigned to Michel Aboud ,   a Lebanese  architect  who graduated from American University of Beirut prior to continuing his studies in the U.S.A.  His name shone then, since it was a controversial project, and continued since. He and his team opened an office in Beirut, Lebanon and have several Avant-garde projects at hand.It was lovely seeing one of their projects, Workshop, get awarded with the  best restaurant in the Americas. Check out the photos in this post and description by SOMA below.
