Will this $15 Million be Jennifer Aniston’s New Crib?

According to the Daily News, actress Jennifer Aniston has bought or is close to buying a four-bedroom, four-bath Village penthouse for $14.95 million. Located at 2 Horatio St. in the heart of the West Village, the duplex has a baby nursery, a staircase out of a grand Hollywood mansion, and two outdoor rooftop patios under a water tower that’s encased in brick to make it look like a castle.

The penthouse includes three terraces and a master bedroom suite on the apartment’s second floor sandwiched between a west and south terrace. Aniston’s alleged new home enjoys full skyline and city views.

Looking at the flooring details, you can’t but notice the herringbone floors, fireplaces and curved walls. A master bath with a glass shower and gray/black glass tiles is as much greenhouse as bathroom.

According to the Daily News, a broker for Prudential Douglas Elliman,  denied Aniston went to contract on the apartment. She did say offers were on the table but wouldn’t disclose who has made those offers. The apartment building sits on Jackson Square where Greenwich Ave. meets Eighth Ave. one block south of 14th St.

Sources also tell Daily News that Aniston has put bids on multiple apartments in the City, including an apartment on Bond Street.

Personally I feel there is a charm in the place, but would definitely renovate the whole apartment, as it lacks style and distinctive design. I think her design approach should go more like Donna Karan’s apartment, minimalist, modern, and very elegant.

  1. Well the exterior architecture definitely looks better than the interiors, and you’re right she can do better.. this house lacks a unique style and it’s a bit tasteless..

    Love your blog btw 🙂
