Fendi Casa 2020 Collection | Luxury Furniture
2020 was a big year in the planning for most people and companies including luxury furniture brands such as afulltable.com who had their new collections set to be revealed during Salone Del Mobile in April 2020. Unfortunately with the pandemic, most companies had to change the direction pf their plans. Some decided to show their products through virtual events and others simply through announcements and creative videos.
Fendi Casa usually are discrete when it comes to showing their collection but nevertheless presented a gorgeous and maybe the most fun collection to date. Their setups revolved mainly around bold colors. They got creative with their movable pieces such as the coffee tables and added different finishes patterns and colors to already existing designs in addition to new ones.
The new collection included new and facelifted existing products. The start where the Anya Lite tables in all the various colors, and the Kelly and Kelly Bracelet where they created armchairs, sofas, and beds from the same line. My personal favorite is the Lambert sofa (with the luxurious marble inserts) and pouf.

Gucci Opens a Restaurant in Florence
After the tremendous success Gucci has been having since Alessandro Michele took over as the main designer, now they are opening a new concept store in Florence which will also be serving pasta among other delicacies by non other than Michelin-starred chef Massimo Bottura of the Modena-based Osteria Francescana. The place is known as Gucci Osteria and located on the ground floor at the Gucci Museo , which opened in 2011 at the ancient Palazzo della Mercanzia. The Osteria will serve iconic Italian dishes as well as contemporary twists on classics for all-day dining.
I am not sure of their choice any why they went for such a loud green but because it’s Gucci, everything is allowed 😉 The design is very basic but nonetheless cozy and charming.

Gucci Launches Home Collection September 2017 | Luxury Interiors
Gucci Décor is the latest hype to be launched this September by Gucci. The collection is very inspired by their eclectic fashion line.
From the images that are circulated, the collection so far includes crockery and scented candle holders that are produced by Richard Ginori,
Additionally, four scents for both candles and incense have been developed by Michele — Inventum , Fumus, Herbosum , and Esotericum.
In addition to the above, cushions and a range of wallpapers in silk, vinyl, and paper will be offered for those who want to make a strong statement with strong Gucci patterns.
Gucci Décor progressively roll-out globally in Gucci flagship stores, online at gucci.com and select boutiques.
Gucci notes that the décor collection will not have its own dedicated floorspace, but be spread throughout the boutiques “to emphasise Alessandro Michele’s notion that these pieces are simply another way to dress in Gucci.”
I have mixed feelings about this collection, what are your thoughts?

Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht Hotel By Marcel Wanders | Hotel Design
The new Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht hotel has just opened its doors. Marvelously set on the Prinsengracht – Prince’s Canal – part of the city’s iconic ring of canals, the 122-room hotel is surrounded by the unique cultural scene and spirit of the lively Jordaan district and adjacent “Nine Streets”. The hotel was designed by non other than the famous Dutch designer (and my personal favorite) Marcel Wanders.
Ralph Lauren’s Fifth Avenue Duplex | Celebrity Homes
Ralph Lauren commissioned the late decorator Angelo Donghia to rennovate and design his Fifth Avenue Duplex. For this particular place, Lauren was motivated by a “simple, almost primitive desire for clean, open space”. Donghia became one of his closest friends, Lauren liked his clean lines and simplicity.
Lauren wanted a simple retreat, a place where white was predominant and where he felt like he was “floating on a cloud”, thus the elevated level of the living room. The apartment enjoys beautiful views and a great amount of natural light.
To add to the simplicity, the herring bone wood flooring was replaced with a more simple pattern and a slightly darker tint. Materials used in the kitchens and bathrooms are now very sleek and modern with glossy surfaces and clean lines. Furniture was replaced, banana plants were discarded.
