Maison & Objet starts today and takes place in France as every year. This year, however, they have come up with an iPhone App and have a facebook page to update you with all the details and events taking place.
This year’s Designer of the Year is Odile Decq, an award-winning French architect and academic. She is the leading architect at the Paris firm, Odile Decq Benoît Cornette, Architectes-Urbanistes or ODBC Architectes.

It’s the birth of a new hope arising which blasted crusty old conventions. In 1996, the firm’s innovative work was awarded the gold Lion at the 6th Mostra in Venice.
