Appreciating Concrete Collective furniture and home accessories is an art in itself, to me it’s probably the best part of my job as an interior designer. I am sharing with you in this post photos of the most beautiful pieces I cam across during my usual tours around Kuwait’s furniture showrooms. The above piece is one of the most beautiful by Fendi Casa from their 2011 collection, the Fabio sofa. The fabric is exquisite.

Regardless of any political opinions on the current Syrian conflict, I could not help but be intrigued by the details obtained by The Guardian concerning the believed-to-be private e-mails of Syria’s president Bashar Al Assad and his wife Asma. In a few of these e-mails, their purchases were revealed most of which were home items and high end furniture, I have to complement Mrs. Assad on her taste, her home furnishings were mainly from Baker and Baxter. One question though, was she ordering them for her Syria house or where exactly?!

Herman Miller, one of the worldwide leading brands in office furniture, has released a new limited Asia edition of the iconic Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman which is perhaps the most famed mass produced piece of American furniture.
